I’m currently working on a project that requires a cheap, low-power microcontroller that’s programmable through Arduino and has a few more pins than the ATtiny85. That’s where I found the ATtiny84A. It has many of the same features as the ATtiny85, but has 12 I/O pins instead of six.

Control an LED remotely with an Arduino and Ubidots
This tutorial shows some of the basic capabilities of an Arduino and it’s integration with Ubidots. After doing it, you'll learn what an Arduino is, what it does and how you can set it up to turn an LED (or any other actuator) on and off from your Ubidots account. All you need to get started is an Arduino board and the official Arduino WiFi Shield.

Arduino Smoke Detector
Smoke Detectors are very useful in detecting smoke or fire in buildings, and so are the important safety parameters. In this DIY session, we are going to build a Smoke Detector Circuit which not only sense the smoke in the air but also reads and displays the level of Smoke in the Air in PPM (parts per million)

Coffee Cup Spy Cam
Take your cup of Joe from classic to classified with a tilt-triggered spy camera. The trick is to modify two paper coffee cups — install the device in one, slide it into the second, and align holes cut in the bottoms of each. Two LEDs can be seen through the standard plastic lid — one illuminates when the tilt switch is activated, the other flashes twice after a picture has been taken.
